Excellent condition except for left top slight corner wear that does not extend into the image it’s only on the white border and looks worse in the photos I took of it. I believe this is from year of issue but I’m unsure. Very difficult to find this shot from the original negative especially at or near the year of issue. This is from, if not the best, then one of the very best Marilyn Monroe photo collectors of all time, Kim Goodwin. Kim was a man of many talents, he loved and had a deep appreciation for Marilyn, he actually worked for photographer, George Barris, and chose to be paid in photographs and negatives. He was extremely talented, among many talents, he was a photographic preservationist, there are many books that credit him for the use of his photos. He was a highly skilled Marilyn doll designer, some would argue perhaps the best because his dolls looked so life like and captured Marilyn’s beauty in a way no other designer could and they had a gracefulness to them that was unparalleled, and as mentioned above contributed to many books on her. He was also a sought after, highly regarded, expert stylist/artist to the stars.
